Well kids, we didn’t make it through the 21 days.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Lol! It’s all good. Let’s discuss what happened, why, and where I am with things now.
I made it all the way to Day 20 of my 21 Day Theory and then I let day 21 slip away from me. I don’t want this to seem like I’m giving excuses… I should have made it. I didn’t. I DO, however, want you all to know that I too struggle with staying on a workout/balanced diet regimen. The goal through it all though is to just “Keep pressing play.”
On Day 21 I was so tired when I got up. Of course it was early with the boys and after feeding them breakfast it was time to hit the ground running. (Only not literally because at least THAT would have been a work out! Lol!) I had work to do online so I got sucked into cyber world. Then, it was time to eat breakfast myself. Then, it was off to work. By the time I got home from work it was time to feed the boys dinner. Then, we had a huge event at Wild Bill’s so I had to get ready for that… and then back out the door until 1:30am.
Again, no excuse. But I know that most of you have at some point (or presently) struggle with these same issues.A couple people asked me why would I tell you guys I didn’t make it. They said it would let you down and be disappointing because you were looking to me to be an example. Well… I am an example. Of what to do and what not to do; and what to do again. I say by me letting you into my slip up shows the reality of MY struggle and can still be just as encouraging. Instead of having another person saying “Yep, I did it. It was easy. I can’t believe you can’t get it together. (lol)!” I’m saying, “Hey guys, I effed up. Time to get it back together and keep it movin!”
So.. Day 22 we pressed play again. I love P90X and encourage anyone looking to change their life in a major way to get on the program. Tony says “Just keep pressin play” and that’s what I intend to do!! P90X makes me feel amazing. I saw results as early as the end of the 1st week and was really feelin it by week three. “It hurts so good!”

Hey guys! We made it into week 5 but missed two days. Week six we decided to repeat week 5 and still missed two days. I will say this, exercising 5 of 7 days isn’t awful BUT it isn’t the program. Soooooo… we’re starting over. On Monday, August 9th, we are starting P90X from the beginning WITH the eating plan. I’ll be keeping you guys updated on Twitter. Cheers!
